July 28: "Prayer Changes Things" by Pastor Steve Baden

The scriptural focus for the July 28 message was Luke 11 verses 1-13. In these verses, the disciples asked of Jesus: "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples..." Pastor Steve explained to the congregation that the prayer Jesus teaches the disciples is designed to guide them, and us, away from praying for selfish wants: it is an "our" prayer and not a "my" prayer.

July 21: "Living as Disciples Part 2" by Pastor Steve Baden

Pastor Steve's second message in this series follows up on last week's sermon highlighting lessons learned through the story of the Good Samaritan. Love for neighbor was the July 14 sermon focus with July 21 focusing on love for God . The scripture focus for the message included Colossians 1: 15-28 and Luke 10: 38-42.

July 14: "Living as Disciples" by Pastor Steve Baden

Pastor Steve Baden focused on Colossians 1: 1-14 and Luke 10: 25-37 in delivering his July 14 message on the parable of The Good Samaritan. Pastor Steve reminded those in attendance that we can love because we received God''s Love first. We can love others, but not without God's help.

July 7: "The Inheritance of God Part IV" by Pastor Steve Baden

Pastor Steve Baden continued his series on "The Inheritance of God Part IV" and focused on several scriptural passages in delivering the message, including Galatians 6: 7-16 and Luke 10: 1-11 and verses 16-20. The sermon was part of the July 7 celebration of Independence Day, nationally recognized three days earlier on July 4th.
