The Board is pleased to announce that DCCC church doors are open for in-person weekly Sunday services. Masks are optional and available as a safeguard to prevent the spread of COVID. Special services include Valentines Day, St. Patrick's lunch, Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day and other services. This schedule may be subject to change in case of hazardous weather or if any health issues or new state health mandates arise. Please bring the family and join us!
Among the duties and responsibilities of the Board of Directors are:
The term of a board member is two (2) years. An election for two of the four positions is upcoming.
The church bylaws state that the Board of Directors shall not exceed five (5) members, including the Senior Pastor who sits on the board but is not a voting member. Three of the elected board members must be full-time area residents.
Nominations will be accepted from the congregation for a period of time, usually 30 days, prior to an election. Directors will screen the nominations and publish the names of prospective members. If no disqualifying information is forthcoming, the candidates will be presented to the congregation for affirmation.
Any board member missing more than two (2) out of three (3) regularly scheduled board meetings in any ninety-(90) day period may be automatically removed and so notified by the chairman. He or she may be reinstated by unanimous vote of the LBoard of Directors.
Board of Directors meetings are held on an as-needed basis. At the discretion of the Board, staff members or members of the congregation may be present to assist them with business.
A quorum shall consist of a simple majority of the members of the Board of Directors. A passing vote shall consist of a simple majority of the members present, so long as there is a quorum. Proxy votes will not be accepted.

Pastor Baden’s Memorial Day sermon was one of the best sermons I’ve heard in my entire life! Wish I was there to hear it. I hope those who were there appreciate his message. God Bless Pastor Baden.
