Palm Sunday March 25: A Week to Remember

Pastor Kent's Palm Sunday message focused on Luke 19: 28-48, specifically the history of the week leading up to the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, how things happened and what they mean for us today. Pastor Kent shared some historical perspective on Holy Week and said this is a good week to reflect on our own relationship with God and and how we fit these events in our life to be more like Jesus Christ. March 11: "Our Plans and God's Plans"

“Our Plans & God’s Plans” was the topic of Pastor Kent's message on March 11. The sermon drew on Old Testament scripture of Jeremiah 29: 4-14 and New Testament scripture of Luke 11: 1-13, wherein God tells His children to build homes, have children, grown in number and prosper as part of His plan for them and fulfillment of His promises . Pastor Kent noted that someone wise once said that we should "write our plans in pencil and give God the eraser." This sentiment is a central thought of the message and echoes Proverbs 16:9 (NIV), "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." This sermon can be viewed on:
