August 18: "Life Is No Picnic" By Pastor Steve Baden

Matthew 14: 13-21 was the focus of Pastor Steve's message focused on Christians having faith and doing good works, small and large, in Jesus' name. Jesus feeding of the crowd of more than 5,000 men, women, and children with five loaves of bread and two fish demonstrates that we are God's children and none of should feel insignificant or useless.

August 11: "Seeing the Unseen" By Pastor Steve Baden

Hebrews 11: 1-3; 8-16 were the focus on Pastor Steve's August 11 message. Hebrews 11 verse 1: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." was the theme that ran through the sermon as Pastor recounted various Bible stories to illustrate the importance of trusting God, Jesus and our hearts as we strive to live and support one another in strong faith as Christians.

August 4: "Setting Our Mind On Things Above" by Pastor Steve

Pastor Steve noted that God planted within us ambition and determination and He wants us to be successful, but preoccupation with material things can trap us. Luke 12: 13-21 and Colossians 3: 1-11 were the scriptural focus for this sermon focused on the stumbling blocks of greed and covetousness.
