Pastor Kent spoke on how God wants each of us to be a masterpiece and that problems are an absolute requirement of life, saying, "It is a course that can not be missed." He cited scripture from the Book of James and encouraged those in attendance to read it for its practical guidance on how we, as Christians, should lead our lives. Pastor Kent's message focused on verse two of James, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds..." He reminded the Sunday gathering that we may not be able to control circumstances, but we can control how we respond.
